The Challenge
Leisure is a human right. Leisure is gatekept. Community Club is a speculative brand built around the idea that leisure is a human right, yet often inaccessible or gatekept. The goal was to imagine an organization that breaks down barriers to leisure while connecting authentically with the Asheville community and its eclectic, inclusive spirit.

The Solution
I developed a visual identity rooted in expressive typography, vibrant color, and Art Deco–inspired illustration. Art Deco was chosen as a direct reference to Asheville’s architecture and its transformation from a rural town into a city shaped by creative and unconventional communities. Together, these elements create a bold, welcoming visual language that reinforces the idea that leisure is for all!
